Partnering with the client, Gensler determined how customer behavior, shopping pathways, and staff engagement affected retail performance, isolating the role of spatial design in the productivity of the retail store.

Experience
Using experience analytics, Gensler produced a before and after analysis of the reconfiguration, demonstrating how it changed customer behavior according to spatial, behavioral, experiential, and sales metrics. This analysis allowed the client to understand which spatial factors and experience factors were essential to the store’s performance.
