Nakheel Properties worked with Gensler to create an interactive viewing deck and exhibition at the iconic Palm Tower.

Challenge

The experience center and observation deck at the Palm Tower needed to be a memorable world-class destination that celebrates the unique story of the Palm Jumeirah, the spectacular man-made archipelago that the tower overlooks.

Purpose

Gensler’s integrated team designed an experience that educates, entertains, and immerses visitors in Palm Jumeirah’s creation and the surrounding natural landscape. Digital touchpoints throughout the experience embody the pioneering innovation that define Dubai and position The View at The Palm as a premier local attraction.

Experience

An immersive theatre introduces visitors to the Palm’s creation story. From there visitors move through interactive exhibit spaces highlighting the archipelago’s origins and impact. Activations include an immersive digital aquarium, projection mapping and telescopes using augmented reality technology.
