TELUS Health sought to use their advanced tech and data assets to provide a personalized approach to addressing patients’ frequent anxiety around medical testing and receiving results.
Purpose
The TELUS Health Care Centre - Precision Health shines a light on what’s possible when health, data and design come together in a meaningful, relatable, and seamless experience. Digital and visual activations enable purposeful experiences throughout the Precision Clinic by aggregating data, projecting calming visuals, and communicating information clearly, in a more understandable and digestible way for long-term action. The connected digital and physical ecosystem embodies the future of hospitality-driven, personalized care.
Experience
A seamless technology ecosystem keeps the space running smoothly and personalized to members’ needs, letting them control privacy, light, sound, climate, and one-of-a-kind immersive content, all from one on simple-to-use touch interface. To reimagine the comprehensive screening, members are welcomed with a four-panel visualization hub that clearly communicates their diagnostics and data. Immersive environments reduce anxiety endemic to imaging procedures: the MRI room features a floor-to-ceiling projection of nature and the ultrasound features a curved LED screen for ergonomic real-time viewing or natural imagery for relaxation.
